The National Black Women's Network

The NBWN is a non-profit organisation dedicated to raising the status and position of black women in all walks of life.

We provide dynamic initiatives, enabling women from diverse backgrounds and occupations to develop strong professional and social contacts; high quality training and education programmes; leadership and national recognition.

We work to ensure that the contributions and influence of black women are recognised as vital forces within the public and private sector, business, corporate, arts, media and entertainment fields.

Jamaican Legacy Publication

The Legacy publication is a major project of the High Commission to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the arrival of the SS Empire Windrush, which was a watershed moment in the history of a multi-cultural Britain.

Stakeholder Engagement and Events Manager

Would you like to support the growth of women-owned businesses across Europe?

Do you have excellent stakeholder management skills? Do you have experience of planning events? Do you have an understanding of the SME/entrepreneurial marketplace in Europe? If so, the WEConnect International team would love to hear from you! WEConnect International are a global supplier diversity campaign and they are expanding their team in Europe - they are looking for a stakeholder engagement and events manager. As part of close knit but global team, the role will involve working with their network of amazing women-owned businesses in Europe as well as helping to organise and plan events - from small meetings and workshops to large annual conferences.

Fluency in German would be an advantage. The role is home-based with possible travel to Europe on an ad hoc basis.
